Japanese Flower Parks

HITACHI SEASIDE PARK

The Hitachi Seaside Park is a 350-hectare space with huge expanses of flowers. It is a 2.5-hour bus ride from Tokyo, located in the Ibaraki Prefecture of Japan. The best time to go is during spring or fall, when most of the flowers are in bloom, but all year round you may still see flowers. The park is most famous for its blue Nemophilia, which they literally have a mountain of, that seemingly blends seamlessly with the sky. They have other beautiful flowers as well, such as Narcissus and Tulips.

ASHIKAGA FLOWER PARK

The Ashikaga Flower Park, located in the Tochigi Prefecture of Japan, is best known for its Wisteria “tunnels,” but unfortunately, the time we went, it was not peak season, and they were very sparse. But we still got to see a lot of beautiful flowers and had a nice walk around the park.
