Balesin

Balesin Island Club or simply “Balesin” as it is more commonly known, is a 500-hectare island beach resort. It is a members only club, but if you know someone who is a member, you can go as their guest. It is just a 25-minute plane ride from Manila, so it’s the perfect quick getaway.

There are seven themed villages: Balesin, Bali, Phuket, Mykonos, St. Tropez, Costa de Sol and Toscana. Aside from the villages, there is also The Royal Villa.

PHUKET VILLAGE

BALI VILLAGE

ST. TROPEZ VILLAGE

They have some nice, sunny rooms here. I also enjoyed the food and crepes at their restaurant!

THE ROYAL VILLA

I was not able to take pictures of all the villages, including Mykonos where it was very scenic, and the lamb was so good! Also at Costa de Sol, we had a yummy cochinillo, I guess that’s why I forgot to take a picture haha! So I guess that gives me an excuse to go back!

Here are a few other attractions aside from the villages:

the spa

having mais con hielo at sunset sweets

fish fun restaurant – a casual “dampa” style seafood restaurant, where you can catch fish, and you have beautiful beach views all around

traditional ifugao houses
ifugao souvenir shop

There was also an Aviary and a Sports Center, and maybe there are more things I forgot to mention. But basically I guess you can see that Balesin Island Club is much more than just a beach!
